Anwuma Bavole are Awakened bats similar in appearance to the Awakened Birdman in North America. They are primarily fish-eating carnivores, feeding off of surface fish in the Gulf of Guinea. Anwuma Bavole carry no latent disease that affect metahumanity, unlike their Birdmen counterparts. They have a mild Allergy to sunlight and thus are typically only seen in caves or at night.
Anwuma Bavole are prone to the peculiar habit of following certain groups of people, following them for no particular reason for days on end. The Nzima people consider Anwuma Bavole a good omen, and encourage this behavior by feeding the creatures.
