DeMeKo is short for Deutsche Medien- und Kommunikations-AG ("German Media and Communications Corporation").
DeMeKo is the parent company of over 1,200 newspapers, newsfaxes, TV studios, SimSense and radio stations. DeMeKo owns shares in about 40% of all media companies in the AGS and several abroad. Any media in the widest meaning is part of DeMeKo's business, from books over comics to music and hardcore porn.
