The 10 Minute War was a brief chemical and nuclear exchange between Libya and Israel that left hundreds of thousands dead in a matter of minutes.

On September 10, 2004, Libya launched a chemical weapons attack on Israel, killing thousands. Israel immediately replied with nuclear weapons, annihilating Tripoli and other major cities, killing millions and mortally wounding the Libyan state.

The United Nations moved peacekeeping forces into the area to render humanitarian aid. They could do little more than direct the flow of refugees into Egypt, central Africa, and the Middle East. Eventually, the UN forces withdrew from the radioactive corpse of Libya, which Egypt officially annexed.

Years later, the remaining wasteland would become the site of the popular Desert Wars.
