The American Association for the Advancement of Thaumaturgy (AAAT) was mentioned in Dunkelzahn's Will as the recipients of 500,000 nuyen to educate the public about the nature of magic. Dunkelzahn stated that magic and science are equal parts of humanity's heritage, and that there need be no quarrel between them.

The AAAT sets all legal standards for magical practices in the UCAS.
