Auvergne[]
Auvergne is a region in central France.
The Auvergne volcanoes erupted in 2011, destroying Clermont-Ferrand and devastating the region, which had to be evacuated by the French army. There were intermittent eruptions for the next 20 years.
In 2038, Saeder-Krupp implemented its LAVA (Laboratories of the Auvergne Volcanic Area) project to install laboratories. Research revealed that volcanoes have a unique and unexplained ability to absorb ambient mana. A lichen of dual nature was also found there. In 2060, Ares tried to participate in the LAVA project.
In December 2061, a purely astral flare occurred. On July 19, 2062, an astral flare materialized, the entire LAVA project was evacuated. Saeder-Krupp launched several operations to recover information and equipment.
The largest laboratory of the LAVA project is Prometheus II. It is built on the ruins of Clermont-Ferrant. It is the favorite laboratory of Lofwyr. He focuses his research on the Puy de la Mole, the only volcano that has never erupted.
