Betty Jo Pritchard was the 6th President of the United Canadian and American States. Pritchard, a Republican from Ontario, was Speaker of the House of Representatives during the election scandal of 2056. Her predecessor, Thomas Steele, had been re-elected in November of that year. Following the order of succession Pritchard became President of the UCAS. However, she and Congress ordered a new election to be held on August 7, 2057.
