A body shop is an establishment offering cyberware (and bioware) implants. Their unofficial motto is "replacing meat with machine".
Legal body shops usually operate as part of hospitals. Illegal body shops, sometimes known as as "chop shops" for the low-quality establishments, or "black clinics" for the higher-end ones, often attached to similarly illegal street clinics, are operated by street docs.
