The Bogie (Canis auspicii) is a large canine resembling a large Rottweiler with a pair of small, horn-like protrusions above its brow. It is believed that these horns are sensory in nature, granting the species some measure of motion detection and enhanced hearing.
The Bogie can emit a howl that is described as one of the most mournful sounds in nature, causing paralyzing fear. Cases of unforeseen "accidents" have occurred in the proximity of Bogie packs. It is believed from various isolated case reports that the Bogie has a severe allergic reaction to Aconite or Horseradish.
