The Firms are the British crime families of the Cockney-speaking East End of London.
The Firms are the established, old crime families that have dominated the East End since the mid-20th century. Their income comes from stealing, murder-for-hire, and selling what ever is illegal. They limit their operations to their own neighborhoods. As long as you are culturally a Cockney from the East End, your accepted even if you are a metahuman or of immigrant stock (e.g. Indian).[1] The exception is "The City" (London's financial district) where they are known for robbery and theft of bullion and data.[2]
