The Forte Family is an Italian Mafia syndicate based in the city of Melbourne in Australia.
The Forte family is similar in structure to the Sicilian Mafia. It has interests in the government-run casinos and have an extensive network of illegal betting and gambling operations, including numbers rackets in most major cities. It has a seat on the Melbourne Commissione.[1]
