Gomatia are Awakened chameleons. They are the size of large dogs, but otherwise look similar to their mundane cousin, with rotating independent eyes, prehensile tails and toes, and a long and sticky tongue.

Gomatia are diurnal carnivores, typically eating small birds and Awakened insects. They will eat anything up to the size of a housecat, however, and have been known to attack things many times that size. They breed once a year, bearing from 10 to 25 live young. They pose little threat to most metahumans.

Gomatia and variants are found all over Africa, Madagascar, and India, typically in rainforests. They are often bought and sold as pets, and are used as corporate security animals occasionally.
