The Hodo-kai is a Yakuza syndicate in the city of Bangkok in Thailand.
The Hodo-kai is a small Yakuza syndicate which was established in the 2070s when a faction of the Kuroiban-gumi broke off, as they were followers of the New Way. A brutal mob war ensued in which Hodo (the leader of the breakaway faction) and most of his followers were killed. The survivors continued on, led by Hodo's his two children, a son and daughter and established the new syndicate. It recruits both women and metahumans, and accepts magic. The metahumans that it recruits are passionately loyal to the organization.[1]
