Picture from Paranormal Animals of Europe |
The Imperial Eagle (Canis lupus aesiri), sometimes referred to as a raptor, is the largest bird of prey in all of Europe, using its large hooked beak and heavily taloned claws to rend prey quickly. Even though they are totally carnivorous, and have the size to attack most metahuman-sized creatures, they have only been seen to prey on smaller birds, snakes and rodents. Of course, if attacked, they will respond in kind and have been known to go after metahumans who set traps or poisoned bait for them.
