The Irish Mafia is organized crime which is ethnically Irish.
The Irish Mafia is made of syndicates which originated in the state of Ireland or were founded elsewhere by Irish immigrants or their descendants. Within the former nation of Ireland, now known as Tír na nÓg, organized crime is dominated by revolutionary paramilitary groups (leftist and rightist), which are in opposition against elven rule. Elsewhere, there are several Irish-dominated criminal families and clans in North America and Australia. These outfits are involved in a variety of criminal activities from drug trafficking to white-collar crime, from illegal gambling to prostitution, loansharking to Matrix crime, protection rackets to labor racketeering, and so on.
Organizations with Irish Factions
Outside of Ireland and Canada, there really isn't much of an Irish Mob anywhere. In the United States there are only a few small Irish crews left, most in Boston and Philadelphia, and all subordinate to the Italisn. They are a pale shadow of the Irish mobs of the 1960s-80s who in turn were a pale shadow of those of the 1920s-30s. and all subordinate to the Italians. Down in Australia, the last of the Irish mobs (the Moran family) was destroyed in a mob war in the 1st decade of the 21st century. At this time the most powerful Irish mob is the West End Gang in the city of Montreal in Canada, one which is still one of the most powerful crime syndicates in Canada.
