The Korean Mafia is organized crime which is ethnically Korean.
The Korean Mafia is not a single organization, but consists of various types of organized crime groups. Some of them were founded in Korea itself and others were founded overseas by Korean immigrants or their descendants. One of the syndicates is even a Yakuza clan. They are involved in a wide variety of criminal activities from protection rackets to smuggling, trafficking in drugs to trafficking in women, organlegging to Matrix crime, and so on. Korean syndicates are operating in the Korean peninsula, North America, Russia, Japan, Southeast Asia, and in Europe.
