The Kuroiban-gumi is a Yakuza syndicate based in the city of Bangkok in Thailand.
The Kuroiban-gumi is challenging the Triads' control of the Golden Triangle drug trade[1] It's a member syndicate of the Watada-rengo.[2] Recently they managed to break the Triads' stranglehold on the Golden Triangle, putting a crimp into their drug profits though the Triads continue to dominate the Golden Triangle.[3][4] They also run bunraku brothels in Bangkok.[5]
