The Maritime Security Division (MSD) is the elite security branch of Wuxing Incorporated.
The Maritime Security Division specializes in the protection and recovery of Wuxing maritime assets. It's part of Wuxing's corporate security forces and the division has enough staff to put one or two teams on every Wuxing port and ship, on top of the visible security.
MSD usually has its operatives blend with the workers, which comes as a shock to raiders or shadowrunners who bypass the token security only to find themselves getting rocked by a deckhand or cook who is an adept or spellcaster. They have a higher number of Awakened operatives within their ranks than normal.
MDS also has augmented operatives. Being masters of shipboard CQB, to prevent damaging the ship too much they use a variety of non-lethal weapons but if things go hot, combat shotguns are the preferred weapon.[1]
