The Meh-teh Lama is a Tibetan Yeti who claims to be a reincarnation of an animist spirit (of what we're not told) who was converted to Buddism in the eleventh century by a monk. He is given access, along with his tribe, to the Pangboche Monastery. He is also said to have brought a set of scrolls proving his identity, but no outsider has ever seen them. This arrival is said to have been three days after the awakening, which would put into doubt the belief of parazoologists that sasquatches live for around forty years.
