The New Society of Jesuits was founded to protect the Church. It recruits from the ranks of the most hard-line conservatives within the clergy. They established their base in the city of Toledo in Spain, in the stronghold of the anti-magic and anti-metahuman conservative faction within Roman Catholicism.
