The Paulini Family is an Italian crime syndicate based in the city of Melbourne in Australia.
The Paulini family is the most powerful Mafia faction on the island continent. Don Jonathan Hawkes is considered the capo of the various Italian families. The syndicate runs a "Shadow Exchange" where stocks can be traded less publicly.[1]
It is focused on financial crime and runs a vice empire of drugs, pornography, BTLs, and prostitution. It's operations cover much of Australia. They are also heavily connected to Canberra. On the Melbourne Commissione, they not only have a seat but Don Hawkes is the chairman.[2]
