Scintillant Albatrosses (lat. Diomedea scintillans), huge, web-footed sea-birds, is believed to have zoological links to both its un-awakened migratory albatross and the Awakened Phoenix due to similarities in the birds behavior during equinox. During the mating season of the spring equinox, the males of the birds will put on spectacular displays where they will breathe flame and wreathe themselves in the fire to attract females for mating. Like the phoenix, they are not hurt by this pyrotechnic display and tend to live much like their unawakened brethren for the rest of the year.
