Sweetwater Creek

The Sweetwater Creek is an Ork and Troll city in near the city of Atlanta, (Georgia).

Sweetwater Creek has it's origins in the anti-metahuman bigotry prevalent in the city of Atlanta. Laws and regulations were passed that made it difficult for Orks and Trolls to live in the city of Atlanta, which compounded with the day to day bigotry convinced the "trog" population to leave for Sweetwater Creek.

The Sweetwater Creek State Park had been advertised by the government in Atlanta as a new home for the Orks and Trolls, promising government funding and assistance to help build them homes, infrastructure, etc. In reality they planned to do no such thing, expecting them to live and die in squalor. What happened was that the orks and trolls rose up to the occasion and got the place running, making a functional community.

Seeing what was done the racist mayor attempted to have them evicted so they could take over the place. In the small clashes that followed the humans lost the fights with the bigger and stronger metahumans. In the meantime, the Sweetwater Creek community had forged an alliance with one of the major powerhouses in Atlanta, the Atlantean Foundation. With them in their corner, the government backed off and left them alone.

Using money generated via the grey and black markets, the trogs built and expanded Sweetwater Creek. Homes were constructed, businesses opened, and industries created. Eventually an Ork and Troll owned and operated corporation (Southern Guard) was established, which would grow into an international company that received an A-rating by the Corporate Council.
