The Unione Corse (Corsican Union) is a Corsican Mafia syndicate based on the island of Corsica.
The Corsican Mafia is a clannish syndicate which completely runs the island of Corsica. It has turned it into a financial haven, and rerouting hub for physical and virtual goods thus making it a vital link for most Mediterranean syndicates. It has also become a tourist mecca.[1]
Unione Corse is led by Guillaume Bonaparte, the direct heir of Napoleon Bonaparte himself. After the earthquakes of 2043, he rebuilt the island's economy thereby earning strong popular support among the Corsicans. He rules the island like a business concern.[2] It has a seat on the "Alta Commissione".
