The Wanibuchi-gumi is a Yakuza syndicate based in Neo-Tokyo sprawl in Japan.

It's a very progressive Yakuza syndicate, a follower of the New Way and also the smallest clan in Neo-Tokyo. The organization actively recruits from Japan's disenfranchised, including technomancers, women, metahumans, half-breeds, and the Awakened. It has gone into Matrix crime in a big way, the first among the Yakuza clans.[2] The Wanibuchi are a member syndicate of the Wanibuchi-rengo, and are a prominent clan in Japan.[3][4] It has ties to MCT, Hisato Turner Communications, Angel Telecom, and Mangadyne.[5]
