The '''Greater Wolverine''' (''Gulo impii'') is an Awakened version of the common wolverine (''Gulo luscus''). It's larger than its cousin, but has the same shaggy fur, wicked claws and razor-sharp teeth as it progenitor. An extremely aggressive carnivore, it will attack anything that comes into its hunting area, whether or not it is hungry. The greater wolverine has been known to attack creatures as large as small bears and metahumans and, if it has no desire to eat its kill, it will despoil the remains by urinating on them to prevent scavengers from feasting.
