The Yamashita-gumi is a Yakuza syndicate based in Korea.
The Yamashita-gumi used to rule the Korean underworld, until the Jo-poks ended their reign. Despite this they are till strong as it's the most open-minded syndicate in Korea. The Yamashita-gumi have embraced the Awakened and Koreans from the beginning. In Korea, the Korean oyabuns continue to remain loyal to the Yamashita-gumi. Currently they are in a mob war throughout southern Korea with a Korean Jo-pok, the Park Syndicate.[1] The syndicate is also a member of the Watada-rengo.[2]
