Yat Gwan is an eastern dragon based in the Canton Confederation.
The eastern dragon Yat Gwan has his lair at Zhurong Peak (Mount Heng) in the province of Hunan, one of the sacred mountains of China. He only demands an annual tribute of 30 red rubies which are given to him on the summer solstice. The dragon sponsors a number of nuclear research projects, especially in Hunan. Yat Gwan is also the majority owner of the Chinese nuclear energy corporation, Nucor Energy.[1] He is a vassal of the Great Dragon Lung, serving as the caretaker of Zhurong Peak. The local population treats him with great reverence and he in turn protects the communities near the mountain.[2]
